School of Medicine Space:
Every year a space inventory is emailed to each department for review and updating. If throughout the year spaces in your area are reassigned to another department, let our office know so we can include that information in our quarterly billing schedule.
Vacant Space Billing: When a department vacates space in a building, it continues to be responsible for the rent until that space is reassigned to another department. The incoming department will be charged for the space based on the date the space has been reassigned.

Does your department need additional space? If the answer is yes, please e-mail spacemgm@pitt.edu to identify the type of space (i.e. office, lab, lab service) and approximate square footage required for each room type. While the ideal space may not always be readily available, we will do our best to accommodate your immediate needs, and we will put you on our list for future space as it becomes available.
